13. How do I get my ticket?
On payment you will receive your e-ticket immediately by email. This is your unique ticket for the draw.
14. How do I know how many tickets have been sold?
There will be regular updates and please follow our Facebook page.
15. When will the draw take place?
The Competition period has been extended. The draw will be made on 13 December 2017, and sales of tickets will close on 10 December 2017 at midnight.
16. How will the draw be conducted?
The Draw will take place in front of an invited audience, including at least one of the potential charity recipients, and will also be streamed via Facebook. We will be Tweeting throughout the evening and will also invite members of the press.

17. How will you contact me if I win?
When you purchase a ticket it automatically provides us with your contact details, should you wish to amend that information please email us from the contact page, we will then use this information to contact you if you are not at the draw.
18. Who will do the draw?
This will take place live, see question 7, and the winning ticket will be drawn by one of the charity recipients it will also be streamed live via Facebook and Tweeted.
20. Do I have to watch the draw to claim the prize?
No the winners will be notified within 24 hours by email, we will also be streaming the draw live and may try to contact you by phone. The results will be put on the website within 48 hours, Tweeted and released to the press.
21. How do I know this is legal?
Please see question 12, the winner will also have to have their ID checked and verified by our solicitor in order to comply with money laundering regulations.
22. How do I know this is real?
All paperwork will be held by our solicitor, full details are on the HMV Competitions website, who will ensure all T & C’s are adhered to.
23. Can I view the property?
No, there is a tenant in place, if you imagine there are 20,000 tickets it would be impractical to offer this as a service.
24. What if I don’t want to manage this property?
There is no need to manage this property as there is already a management agent in place who will take care of everything.
25. When will I get my prize?
In the event of the cash prize being chosen the winner will be required to provide valid bank account details in their name for payment. Payment will be made within 7 days.
If the cash and car option is chosen, the Cash will be paid, as above, and the car ordered to ensure the winner is the first registered keeper. Delivery times are subject availablity and beyond the control of HMV Competitions.
26. What if I want to live in the property?
You can sell it, gift it, or transfer it the choice is yours. Subject to giving the sitting tenant the correct notices.
27. What if I die before the draw?
The prize will go to your estate and pass to your next of kin, subject to your Will / Probate, please seek professional advice from a solicitor.
28. Do I have to pay tax?
You may be liable to tax on disposal of the land or property. Please seek professional advice from your accountant.
29. What if you don’t sell the required amount of tickets?
If a minimum of 10,000 tickets are sold we will pay out 73% of the monies collected. This will mean a CASH pay-out, as set out in the T & C’s.
In the event of the above NO other prize will be paid and the property will remain the property of HMV Competitions.
31. Can I just take cash?
No. The Winner has the choice between the house, or the Cash and Car option.
32. Can I give this to someone else?
Yes, once you own the land, see question 14, it is yours to do with as you wish.
33. Why can’t I pay by cash?
Paying via credit card or PayPal gives you added protection and is your proof of payment. It also allows HMV Competitions to comply with Money Laundering rules.
34. How many tickets can I buy?
You can buy as many tickets as you wish subject to availability.
35. Can I buy tickets as a gift or as a group?
Yes you can buy tickets as a group or syndicate; we recommend you have a syndicate agreement in place.
36. How will I know if I have won?
Please see question 17 & 20.
37. Will you publish details of the winner?
Yes you will be asked to give your consent for publicity as part of the T & C’s.
38. Will you run any more competitions?
Yes HMV Competitions plans on offering further Houses Motor Vehicles & Valuables. If you have registered with us we will inform you by email of any future competitions.
39. How will I know what charity wins?
The results will be put on the website within 48 hours, Tweeted and released to the press.

40. Could you sell my house for me?

41. Would you buy the house back from me if I win?
No, in order to comply with the full Terms & Conditions you must take ownership of the property, however we can recommend local Estate Agents.
